What should I expect?

Many casual cruise ships offer dining in several forms. Often there are no set meal times, known as freestyle dining, dress codes or designated tables. Buffet service is popular as this provides an ideal way to grab a bite in between the days activities. Of course there is also sit down table service. Don't think that this casual approach will leave you wanting as often the menu will range from oriental to Italian to full English breakfast.

Internet cafes are available on most ships, as are photo processing labs and children's play areas. Relax with a spa, melt away in a steam room or enjoy some of the therapies offered by many casual cruise ships.
Evening Entertainment
Your evenings are a chance to cut loose and enjoy the casinos, live shows and lounges. Dance the night away or relax at one of the bars.
Onboard Activities
Think water slides and rock climbing walls rather than shuffleboard and dance lessons (although these may be available). A casual cruise often include a more active range of activities.
Onshore Activities
Your cruise ship will offer many varieties of onshore activities. These often include cycling, windsurfing and tours of the cities. Choosing the activities provided by your cruise line means you can make the most of your time on dry land. Historical and cultural tours are also often available.
