Evenings on Balmoral

Night time cruising on Balmoral is a lively, social affair. There are plenty of comfortable bars where you can enjoy your favourite tipple and recount your day’s sightseeing with friends.

Head for the Neptune lounge for an after-dinner cabaret, laugh along with a stand-up comedian or dance the night away to a live band. You’ll find more spectacular shows in the Lido Lounge as well as the lure of the cruise ship casino, with its roulette wheels and blackjack tables.

If you’d prefer simply to relax over a gin and tonic, the Marquee bar is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down.

Dining on your cruise

Like to dress for dinner? You’ll enjoy a five-star dining experience at the Ballindalloch Restaurant most nights, including the fabulous Captain’s Dinners. Theme nights in Ballindalloch are a slightly less formal affair.

The Avon and Spey restaurants serve the same mouth-watering menus, with Avon suiting anyone seeking a more intimate atmosphere.

If you’d prefer not to have a set time for dinner, the Palms Café is a more casual dining experience, serving delicious buffet-style meals whenever you feel hungry.
