Island Star has the same friendly and informal atmosphere as her sister cruise ship, the Island Escape, but as she's a little roomier, offers more bars and restaurants and has a wider choice of cabins and suites.
Families receive a warm welcome aboard and there's lots of opportunity for fun, relaxation and enjoyment for adults and children alike.
Lifestyle onboard your Island Cruises ship
On Island Star you'll find the Captain and crew are as relaxed as you, so the atmosphere is very easy going and laid back. There's no dress code and no set times or set places for dinner.
There's a fresh, contemporary feel about this cruise ship. The cabins and public areas are spacious and comfortable and there's a great choice of stylish bars, restaurants and lounges where you can relax and enjoy your cruise holiday.
Families are especially welcome onboard and are very well catered for with thoughtful touches such as a separate kid's pool, supervised children's activities and kids' menus in all the restaurants. Bar staff will even mix the children a non-alcoholic cocktail!

- Library
- Cyber Hub with internet access

Your evening cruise entertainment
Your cruise ship has tons going on in the evenings from deck parties to quizzes, bingo and hilarious game shows.
There are also fabulous West-End style shows, rib-tickling comedy and a choice of live music and dancing in just about every bar on your cruise ship. If you're feeling lucky, you can hit the gaming tables and machines in the onboard casino.
Dining on the Island Star
There are no set times for dinner and no formal dress code on your cruise ship. You can dine with or without the kids or join a table with new-found friends.
If you fancy eating al fresco, there's plenty of tasty dishes to tempt you at the Beachcomber Restaurant or The Grill has all the family favourites - including burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings and fries.
For something a little more intimate and upmarket The Island Restaurant serves mouth-watering cuisine, beautifully prepared and presented on crisp, white table cloths.
Or if you're in the mood for dressing up, make a reservation at the Oasis Restaurant, a fine dining experience with fabulous à la carte menus and a wide choice of wines. Kids get their own delicious menus too.
