Entertainment Place

Accessible by dramatic stairs from the Royal Promenade, this central plaza of entertainment combines some of our traditional dramatic spaces with smaller, more intimate venues and allows guests to choose from a wider variety of entertainment each evening than on any other ship. Entertainment Place occupies a central location and acts as a crossroads to many of the ship’s feature entertainment and amenities. It hosts venues including Studio B, Jazz on 4, the Comedy Club, Casino Royale, and the Main Theater.

Key Elements:

Studio B

Modeled after our successful venues on our Voyager and Freedom class ships, Studio B will host one of a kind ice shows as well as a variety of themed events.

Casino Royale

Guests access our casino through themed walkways, The Hall of Odds and the Museum of Gaming. Each walkway immerses you in the experience of gambling and a casino even before you arrive. As the biggest of Cruise Ship gambling environment, the Casino will rival land based gaming in elegance and style. It will include 450 of the latest slot machines, 27 table games including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Three Card Poker, Let It Ride and Caribbean Stud Poker. The centre of the casino will create a memorable space incorporating a bar and lounge area, while the gaming floor port and starboard will offer lower ceilings that create the more intimate setting that experienced gamers prefer. The perimeter of the casino is lined with additional gaming amenities – sports book / bar, poker room, cage, players club etc.

Opal Theater

The evolution of this theater puts the guest even closer and more integrated into the action on stage. Actors will enter the action from unexpected locations, from above, behind and within the audience. The design of the stage itself will draw the audience into the production. Seating 1380 guests, the Opal Theater will offer two original production shows and one headliner show each week. Each show will be offered 4 times throughout the cruise to accommodate everyone.

Blaze

Blaze is the hottest nightclub at sea featuring the latest in club music, a large dance floor, and a huge oval bar. Veiled seating areas with views to the bar and the dance floor add mystery to the space. Directional speakers over the dance floor zone and portions of the bar will create a more immersive music environment, while the seating areas allow for conversation and relaxation.

Jazz on 4

This small jazz and blues lounge is the perfect place for couples to go after dinner, sit at a cozy table for two, listen to live music and maybe dance a little.

Comedy Live

Another of the more intimate spots onboard, Comedy Live will bring the welcoming feel of live comedy clubs to the sea. The smaller space will enable us to offer more customized shows than we can offer in the larger theater so you could see everything from family comedy shows, to late night adult comedy to even some specialty type comedy acts.

Dazzles

Guests will be surprised each evening by the transformation of this space to match to the theme of the evening. Transformation elements will include colour and lighting scheme to room décor, globes, etc. From big band to disco, every night at Dazzles offers a fresh musical experience. Dance competitions and lessons can be offered to engage our guests and add fun & excitement to the venue. Themes can include; Classic Ballroom, 40’s Big Band, Hollywood Glamour (Fred & Ginger), Romance, Studio 54, etc.

Spa & Fitness

A place to soothe mind, body and soul, this state-of-the-art setting designed for the healthy lifestyle, combines the most advanced spa and anti-aging therapies, the latest fitness equipment and healthy dining options.

Enjoy the benefits of a relaxing massage. Restore your body in their Thermal Suite or rejuvenate with one of their many pampering Spa treatments.

Board Walk^SM

Royal Promenade^SM

The Royal Promenade^SM neighborhood - the most expansive promenade at sea - continues to be the heart of the ship. Except now, it’s better than ever. For the first time, the Royal Promenade^SM will have a mezzanine level that overlooks the space below and adds to the excitement of the Promenade^SM.

It features Rising Tide; a levitating bar that ascends and descends over three decks, and enough shops and restaurants to entertain even the most traveled of travelers. By morning, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere over coffee, and people watch. The ambiance becomes more energetic and vibrant in the afternoon with shopping, lunch, or drinks in the pub. In the evening, the energy rises with parades, nightlife, and entertainment for everyone. It’s a destination unto itself.
