You'll find plenty of things to keep you amused between shore excursions. Start the day with a stroll or jog on deck, or maybe a workout at the gym.

Join friends for an al-fresco breakfast at La Terrazza before soaking up the sun or swimming a few laps of the pool. Later you could go shopping for a bauble at the onboard boutique, play Scrabble or Bridge, then pick out a page turner in your cruise ship's library.

Don't forget to treat yourself to a relaxing massage at the spa or maybe have your hair done for the Captain's Gala Dinner. If you prefer, just go crash out in your suite with the daily newspaper or an entertaining DVD.

Your evening cruise entertainment

When night falls on Silver Whisper, your cruise ship comes alive with laughter and good conversation.

The Show Lounge is a spectacular venue showcasing everything from dazzling productions and classical music or folkloric performances by local entertainers.

Early evening in The Bar, you can enjoy piano recitals or jazz cabaret, then stay on here or stroll to the Panorama Lounge if you fancy dancing into the early hours.

Try your hand against Lady Luck in the Casino, catch the odd Moonlit Movie up on deck or head off to The Humidor for your favourite nightcap and a hand-rolled cigar. If none of the above takes your fancy you can expand your horizons with one of Silversea's inspiring guest lectures from noted historians, ambassadors, state leaders, authors and geographers. They've all been selected for their expertise and ability to shed light on the history, art or culture of the local region.

Dining on Star Clipper

There are three great dining venues on your cruise ship. The main dining room is called simply The Restaurant and is an elegant venue where you'll be treated to modern and classic French cuisine. Menus also feature La Collection du Monde - fabulous signature dishes created exclusively for Silversea in partnership with Relais & Châteaux - Relais Gourmands. Some evenings you'll also enjoy a dinner dance in The Restaurant when your meal will be accompanied by delightful music from the ship's orchestra.

Silver Whisper features one of the only Wine Restaurants by Relais & Châteaux at sea. Le Champagne is a reservations-only restaurant serving six sensational courses, paired with fine wines recommeded by the ship's Head Sommelier. Be sure to book your table for an extra special evening or you're wlecome to reserve the whole restaurant if you'd like an intimate evening with family or friends.

You can enjoy panoramic views from La Terrazza or dine al fresco if you wish. Dining here is also by reservation only and mouth-watering Italian menus are served with passion and flair.

Of course if you prefer to dine in the peace and quiet of your suite, you can order from The Restaurant menu during normal dining hours and have your meal served course by course if you wish.
